The website guidelines and manuals are designed to improve Panasonic's global brand image by enhancing the quality of the Panasonic Group's websites to a sufficient level and ensuring consistency among them.

Step 1. Understand the procedure

When creating a website, it is important to start thinking in concrete steps from the abstract purpose. Check the operational flow prior to making an application.

Step 2. Check for usable domain names

The usable domain names differ depending on what the website is to be used for, so check this first. If using the "Panasonic.com" subdomain, the following application is not required.

If using the first-level panasonic.com subdomain without approval from the Brand Strategy Center, or if using a domain name other than panasonic.com, download the Domain Name Application Form from the page below. Complete the required items and send it to the Brand Strategy Center.

Step 3. Complete registration and application

When publishing a website on the Internet, an application to the website registration system WebMAPS is required regardless of the production or development environment.Check the category of the target website before registering it.

When a new dedicated server environment needs to be constructed, application for external connection or cloud service use is required. For applications for DNS, SSL, etc., please refer to the Major Server Environments and Application Procedures for Website Construction.
